Check it out, 6:30pm and 9:30pm (PST) on Discovery tonight! Here is a link Mean Machines episode 2 to the show. Maybe someone can tape it/record it?

They compared two stock vehicles in about 4 or 5 different 'real-world' tests. It was filmed in the woods of Ontario, and they tested clearance, axle articulation/smooth ride over obstacles, acceleration and handling as well as a tug of war (in a muddy field no less).

The LR3 won the 3-1, with the tug of war being a tie since neither vehicle moved more than an inch or two, they just sat spinning.

It would be interesting to watch if you had the time. Different driving styles for the two vehicles. Nice Hemi sound from the Commander, nicer performance from the LR3.

I suppose with my surfing habit I could have missed it. But the Disco channel is a frequent stop.

I tried watching this online, along with the Land Rover G4 Challenge, but its only for canadians, Americans don't get to watch... Unless we can find a canadian proxy to go though =(
