Default Land Rover Orange Color???

I was doing a search and I couldn't find it. I was wondering what is the orange color called on the Land Rover. There is one on the main page of the Land Rover website, but when I try looking at the exterior color choices, it doesn't have any orange.

I think I heard other people say that is its Tangiers orange, but when I search it on the web, it doesn't really have any good pictures of it, so I am unsure.

In Australia, the color is known as Tambora Flame.

Its an introduction limited colour.
My new FL2 was going to be that colour but quickly changed it as I saw a FL2 demo in the flesh and it made it look too much like a toy vehicle...........

So I changed it to the Stornoway Grey....

Hope it helps..

Here is my local clubs page with paint codes, mind you orange is not on there, but if you decide on another colour, these might help.... http://www.lrfaq.org/Series/Other.paint.Codes.html

There are a few Orange colours

Kinversand was on the DIIs and there is G4 Orange (Tangiers)

The limited Orange colour on the Range Rover Sports is called "Vesuvius Red" and the orange on the LR2 is called "Tambora Flame"

hope that helps

Wink Also used by Ford on new model SUV

Ford liked the color enough that they have been using it on their new model Ford Edge. Ford calls it Blazing Copper. If you want to pay a lot, you might want to see thru your paint shop what the price diffrence is with a order of several pints.

Let us know how much it is. Sometimes I get drunk and want to surprise myself when I go to the parking lot. WTF??
