Hey everyone, you should really try to see this new TV show. Its called ODYSSEY: Driving Around the World. 7 people drive around the world in LR Discos. They spend 1 1/2 years on the road in Kitted out Land Rover Discoveries.... Total Adventure of a life time.. Here's their website...
www.odysseyshow.com If you click on "Expedition" and then "Vehicles" you can see what they did to the Landies.. Also you can see the route there. Its airing in the UK on Sky 419 (Extreme Sports Channel) and Virgin 527. Also on OLN Canada starting tuesday Nov 13th... There's also been a bunch of commercials with Mobil 1. Its the same group of people... |

I heard about this expidition. Not quite the bush excitement of Camel trophy (I'd expect) but quite the adventure.
I'll be recording this on my DVR to share with everyone for sure. |

Sweet... That was really strange to see the pic you put up.. I produced the show and drove around the world in one of the cars the whole way. I was in D2... Which one did you get?
Its not in the US yet but I'm pushing to get it there. Its airing all over the world right now though.. Nice shot... Adam |

Sorry, posted it in more than one forum. My bad.
I drove one of the 4 DATW LR's around the world. We definately had some pretty intense driving in parts of the world... Myanmar was the worst road we had on the entire route and it was supposed to be the "Good" new highway. 14 hours to go 50 miles in knee-deep mud... Across the Outback on the Gunbarrel was intense too. no person or car in 4 days of driving.. |
