Exclamation LR3 cop question....

Hi All!

Always read this forum, but just registered. Not new to LR's but just gave deposit on a 05 LR3 in Phoenix. sold my 04 RR HSE. Mainly wanted 3rd row seating and was having warranty issues with my 04, just bad luck and bad dealership. Anywho....

I am in Calgary Canada, flying to phoenix to drive the newbie back on monday oct 4th. I am a police officer in Calgary, I have used carfax before, sometimes accurate, sometimes not, i have a feeling my soon to be new lr3 was involved in a minor to medium collision before the seller purchased it. If anybody has free carfax in the US can you check this vin for me, you may get different results than I in Canada. I am buying regardless, its not that, i just want to know for sure if its been in a collision, it affects my bottom line purchase price. I will be talking to the phoenix police when i am there in person as they will likely as a courtesy run the vin on their computer for me letting me know if they have the vin on record. Carfax may NOT show this hit if its not major.. its NOT salvaged, but may have been bumped etc...i just want to know if my suspicion is right. I have seen others on this board with carfax access do checks for people, just throwing this out there, thanks in advance, and if all else fails like i said i will do it in person when i get to phoenix monday.
More curious than anything.

Sorry for long post.

VIN is SALAE25475A336008
North Scottsdale LR has all history on veh but i feel are hiding the accident hit.

Cheers.
