looks like they lost front swivel at the minimum and couldn't fix it to finish. check out the pictures of them being "skull dragged" onto the flat bed. the other american team faired slightly better in standings, but at least finished. sounds like a brutal competition.

I can tell you why it failed.
It's obvious.....
Increased weight of stickers caused the suspension bits to fail.
Either that or...
No sponsorship for a MIG WELDER. And the mig gods punished them for it.
