Default My First Land Rover

Well I took the plunge (off the deep end) and bought my first land rover.

Couldn’t get the ex military series 11a or 111 I was after and decided to take the VERY sound 1985 110 FFR hard top that cane up unexpectedly.

Its turned out to be a good buy with an externally looking solid chassis (looks to good to be the original) and a military recon 2.5ltr N/A engine and gearbox.

Only problem, I bought it the day before the UK government increased the road tax for 4 x 4's, though I cant tell yet it I will be effected as it seems to me only post 2001 vehicles are effected (can anyone confirm that).

So far Im rather enjoying working on an old vehicle again. In fact I may now finish the old 1962 Morris Minor thats been in my garage for 5 years without anything getting done to it.

Regards
Mac
