Default New HiCountry D2 bumper tested

heres pictures of the D2 bumper. this is a prototype so the weld aren't grinded. we converted the fog lights into rock lights that connect to the factory wiring. the relo. kit for the washer tank is still under testing.

Price for the bumper is $690 and shipping is a flat rate $175 via freight truck. The price includes the washer bottle relocation kit. I will have pictures this week of the finished kit up on the web. The prototype worked well. It reuses the factory pumps for front and rear washers. The kit will include a wiring extension, extra tubing and mounting brackets.

The url for the bumper is http://www.hicountryoffroad.com/Prod...sco_bumper.htm

Looks neat but a tad expensive for what you get.

I have a Devon 4x4 front bumper from the UK with a new washer tank

As Kevin mentions get some protection for the steering / front diff

Will you be selling the washer bottle relocation kit by itself? How much? Where does it mount? Can you supply pumps?

X2

What he told me in an email was that they are still getting all the parts/pieces together to sell individually. He also told me it will be able to mount next to the coolant tank (top right of it) or where the jack goes.

I think I got that all right.

the Devon 4x4 bumper cost $811.62 US, and it requires cutting. Plus international shipping is very high.

we trail test our stuff. first we check all jack points to full hilift height. All frame mounting plates are 1/4" inch and keyed together with full welds.

trail testing includes many things. testing approach, side winching, front winch, rock bashing, and rock sliding.

we're going to do a test video for the D1 & D2 fronts on sunday like we did for the D1 rear.
its on the website.

I paid just over $400 for my bumper from Devon, but that was over a year ago before the $ plummeted .... admittedly I have some good contacts in the freight business and shipping was free

Any chance that you know if range rover classic has the same front end of the chassis as a D1, which would let you use the D1 bumper on it?

very close, but not the same. the wings are a little wider. if you're looking for a RRC front we have them.
