Default Propeller shaft tool alternatives

Im going to do my rear output shaft seal on my LT230 this weekend.I wanted to know what i can use besides the "propeller shaft holding tool" to hold it while i loosen the nut.Not the most complex problem, but i dont want to jam a large screwdriver where it doesnt belong (dirty jokes aside, its just not right )

So if anyone has used an alternative tool let me know.

Parking brake and rear drive shaft have got to be removed to get to the rear oil seal or the propeller shaft. Its behind the parking brake.

You could put the brakes on and block the pedal with a piece of wood.

Im gonna make one.If i blocked the brake pedel i believe there would be too much slop.I would never get it torqued back to spec.It must be solid and unmoving. So ill take on the task of making one tomorrow.
I would just buy one.But i cant seem to find one anywhere

Ah, sorry, thought you meant the propshaft nuts.
Lock the center diff, put it in low 1st and chock the wheels.
But it should be easy to make something.
Use a piece of flat stock about 2' long and as wide as the flange, torch or drill a hole in the center at the end large enough for your socket and then drill two or three holes so you can bolt it to the flange.
