Smile Staggered Rims?

Thinking about upgrading the wheels on my rangie and wanted to know if you guys felt there was any benefit to using a staggered set?

Staggered??? what do you mean?
Are you talking about a different off-set then standard Rover wheels?

Staggered rims are variable width wheels that are wider in the rear that on the front. E.g. 8.5" wide front tires and 10" wide rears. (I had a set on one of my Mercedes like this.) Supposedly they provide added stability in turns? I dont know how they would look on my Rover though... it's rather more boxier than my E500 was. lol

On a 4WD you should use the same size tires on all 4 corners.
So if you run what you're talking about, you'll need to carry 2 spares and you can't rotate your tires. They will wear at different rates so when the fronts are worn out first you'll have to buy another set of 4.
Seems pretty silly to me.
