Default Washer Bottle Relocation Help

Hey Guys!

I'm trying to relocate my washer bottle in my o4 D2.

I've removed 3 of the 4 screws of the bottle.
How do you remove the one screw, the on way up high under the light.

I've also removed the plugs and hoses.
I've also removed the filler pipe.

Here's my last question.

I see most people moving the bottle here

by the inertia switch.

But I have a big black cylindrical thing there that says something about a vacuum.

There is a write up on Discoweb in the tech section.
Some people also use a Defender tank and remove the jack holder and locate it behind the battery. I haven't knocked mine off yet so I haven't bothered to move it yet.

You have secondary air injection. You cannot put the washer bottle there because of it.

You need to either get the defender washer bottle and put it next to the coolant expansion tank or battery, or make the PVC washer bottle. search for both.

I've seen the Discweb.org write up.
That's where the picture came from.
Discoweb Relocation

I've also seen the pvc pipe write-up on a blog.
Seems like a lot of work, though good idea, and I could fit that.
PVC Bottle

I haven't read anything about using a Defender Tank.

Also any suggestions on removing that one screw?
I think I'm going to remove my front light. I think that would give me access to it.

I might just paint it black.

Any links to that defender tank?

Thanks

Just buy this. It comes with all the wiring and tubing. I bought it and it works great.

I was asking jupiter if he had sai.

Ya I def see theres no room there.

Oh I just got the Bottle out.
Moving the light gave me enough room to socket it out.

The only place I have room would be by the battery or under the radiator.

$50 for that kit seems decent maybe a little high.

I went to JC Whitney for all Auto parts - Car, Truck, Jeep, Motorcycle & RV Parts

They have numerous Bottles and Reservoirs for under $25.

No Dimensions though.

Jupiter do you have any pics of the kit in your car?
They only have that one pic.

A few more photos would be awesome.

Michaels any more pics?
Are you you going to those ties?

Also

You know how you made another smaller pipe above the big one and you made your hole to the left of the radiator.

Is there a need for the smaller tube can I just use the large tank and then a filler tube and have my hole to the right of the radiator?

My fan is actually to the left side of the radiator.

I actually have room over my frame to transfer the pipe to the original filler pipe spot.

You could just turn it around.
