Default What to do...

So about 3 weeks ago I moved into a different position at work and was given a company car.. nothing fancy... However since they are paying for gas and I am now on call 24hrs a day.. I am not driving my Range Rover much at all... I mean if I drive it 20 miles a week it's a miracle..

I just hate to have it sit there collecting dust as I am not driving it much at all anymore.. but I don't want to sell it either.. doh!

You can loan it to me if you want!

I'll make sure to put plenty of miles on it for you, don't you worry!

I would say you put some MTs on it and use it as a recreational vehicle on the weekends.

I would do one of two things.

One would be :
Take apart the truck and fix what ever is broken or not working properly. ANd then prepere it to store it in the garage . Put it on comprihencive and pay only like $12 a year of insurance on it .

The other thing would be:
Just fix things on it and drive it once a two weeks . Around the block .

Basicly you have an oportunaty to save on miles and make it last longer .

Yeah I'd restore her if it were me.
My 93 needs a lot of work but I can't even start on it cause I don't have anything else to drive.

Keep her..............I remember you searched fairly hard for one you like. Consider it a bonus that you have have a Rover to drive when you get the urge to play, and someone else is footing the bill for your other car, best of both worlds.......you get to have your cake and eat it too

I am in the same situation.

I actually feel I can enjoy it more on the weekends. I have been putting in a lot of wrech time to get it ready for RR6 in Death Valley.

Keep it..... You did search a long time for it.... Just use it as a "FUN" car...for tooling around and doing some trails

Well if I can find an inexpenise Series 88" of 109" I would probably sell the RRC.. Otherwise it's just an occasional weekend vehicle now.. which is fine with me as gas is now creeping up again...

I say keep it, it looks really nice and you might eventually have to get rid of the company car.....better to have a backup then none.

...hehe....could you ask your company if you can just get thier logo in magnet sheets so you could turn the RRC into your company car......maybe you pay a portion of the gas?? would be cheaper then having it sit without using it....in parts (and damage) and insurance. ...problem solved..

You can't just tease with stuff like "very cool equipment not in your every day car" and not tell us what kind of cool stuff you get to play with.
