My Series III 1972 109 affectionately got named "the Tin Turtle". It was actually named here on the site, after I described how to remove a 109 hard top by yourself. It fit on so many levels, one being that I have the pastel green paint job, another being a 109, I think that the turtles sometimes pass me. As well, like the hare and turtle story, I get everywhere I want to go, and sometimes win the race......

1972 Series III 109.

In the past, whenever anyone in my family bought a new vehicle, my 3 daughters would come up with a name. For my Disco, they named her Ramona, which I shortened to Mona cause she moans when out playing on the trails.

With all the problems I've had with mine, I'm thinking of naming it after my ex wife.

When we got the RRC, I think it was named Beast.

When we got home, it was christined Grommet, as the RRC is a rover right?

The Classic is called Rusty (there is no rust on it but my girlfriend said it was old and smelled old) The 4.6 HSE does not have a name but it needs a female British name for a very expensive, large headlights, and constantly wines.

I love Range Rovers

1997 4.6 HSE Special Vehicles Concept
Borla Exhaust
HID headlight conversion
K40 built in radar detector

1989 RRC Country
Borla Exhaust
BFG All-terrains
Big Ass Rack in the back
H4 Conversion kit and bright lights!

With the current issues I'm having with my RRC, I'm thinking I might want to reconsider mine's name to Whisky Tango Foxtrot.

I'm not sure yet, but I keep calling the LR3 Rubber Ducky cuz it's such a cutie and that seems to be sticking.

I'm not even sure LRO knows I'm insane....So far my marketing strategy over there is working and my site and LR business will take off as a result... ~DiscoDream2
