when did bmw own Land Rover and also when did they sell it to Ford?

31st Jan 1994 - BMW bought Rover / Land Rover
8th May 2000 - BMW sold MG / Rover to Pheonix and I guess the Ford deal was signed at about the same time although the intention was announced on March 21st.
