Default Who has the highest mileage on their LR

I keep reading on here people who say they have "high" mileage on their LR's and then findout they only have 65K. Lets play a little LR mileage poker. I got 181K on my '01 Disco2 ...what you got?

1982 series 3 109,2.25 petrol engine................699,423 miles.

To be fair she's done africa top to bottom 3 times and has been over the rest of the globe as well so it's perhaps not fair to brag. I still use her as my daily driver though.

keep rovin people!!!!!!!!!

I'm hoping to get to 700k this week with a trip to Mt. Raineer Natl. Park.

It's not like there hasn't been thing's like replacing the old chassis with a galvanised one and new suspension several dozen times. She has had her share of repairs to keep her going but she still starts first time every time and gets me everywhere I want to go without fail.

The key......... an compulsive obsessive preventitive maintenance regime. A tad over the top but hey....699k speaks for itself.

Wow. I had a late IIA that had 380k on the clock when I sold it. I thought that was a lot, but apparently not.

Best guesstimate? 1970 109 SW about 500,000 miles. Several changed speedometers and non working speedo. It has also had 2 engine rebuilds. I damaged one severly due to a damaged valve and a PO didn't realize they need servicing, like changing the oil, so that PO had the engine rebuilt.
Usually a DD but out this week with a damaged fuel tank.

Original block and head. The head came off last year to redo the valve seats as they were hard as a rock. She smoked like a frenchman when driving her. Other than that still the same set up. Same gearbox, transfer case. I have gone through about 15 clutch kits ,15 sets of drums, shoes wheel cyl and spring kits,6 sets of Parabolic springs (always rocky mountain)god knows how many shocks 5 radiators,3 carbs,2 alternators and 1 starter.3 battery replacement in pars (6) and probobly about 20 pairs of tires and 4 sets of rims .Since getting the wolf rims they have been lasting a tad longer on distance and load travel. Anyway....you get the idea. I could go on for ever like anyone else on here but always running it as the factory would has always helped me.

That's funny right there, but similar to what I was thinking.

Default 1995 Disco

199,669 this weekend. I think the heads may have been reworked before I got it. Not sure what they replaced before I got it...from the looks of it...it's possible it's all original. So that means things are about to start failing...
