Lightbulb Get a chat section going?

I remember from another forum I used to post frequetly on, and still do, they have a chatting section where all the members have access to a board room to chat about anything. Probably for our case, about Land Rovers! It's just a suggestion that popped into my mind, thought i'd mention it to you guys.

hehe...you must be refering to myrover.net.

We have discussed about a chat section and have decided that there would be way too much garbage flowing through it, and not to have it. I would personally like a chat section, but agree that there would be a lot of junk. I am still in favor of the idea...so it depends on what others think.

Ah, I see. On my other forum, not too many people would login to the chat, therefore barely any kind of junk got in the way when someone did login. But I understand. Thought I'd ask.

naw its fine, perhaps we can get the idea open again.....it should really be up to the members, not the moderators. I as a member would think it was great to have a chat section. and I think it would actually be used here at LRO.

Ok... I will look into setting up a demo room on my other site...it's already installed, so I can try it out without installing one here..

Nice...you should make an anouncement so others know about it....hard to test if there is nobody on.
