Default Idea for a poll

I thought it might be interesting to do a poll on how many people work on their own rovers on this site.

A possible break down could be something like this:

Its under warranty, I take it to the dealer and I only trust the dealer.

I hate to get my hands dirty and take it to an independent shop for everything.

I only do minor things like changing oil and spark plugs.

I like to work on my rover, but I take it to a mechanic for major repairs.

I am a pretty good mechanic and can do almost all repairs on my rig.

I am f-king MacGyver(nothing I cant handle) and can repair my rover in the field with a few tools and some duct tape.

I think it might be informative to give us the scope of who this website is reaching. What do you guys think?

not a bad idea. you might want to add "Its under warranty, all repairs go to dealer, all modifications are by me"....

I thought about that, but don't mods risk the chance of things not being covered under warranty?

not always! my roof rack doesn't ruin anything, and if the mods include genuine accessories that you've installed then they come with thier own warranty. There are ways to work around the system! lol

Well, this is just a rough draft, perhaps the administrators can come up with what the final poll answers should be after getting some feedback on this thread.

Thanks Stolen.

If you own any of these British vehicles, you must be mechanically minded, otherwise you're a housewife !!
