As a club, it would be much easier to organize an event to volunteer for aiding during times of crisis such as the recent one.... there are jeep clubs here in Florida that do the same.

I'm all for joining Rover clubs. And I'm all for LRO.
However,,, we are all in disparate locations, making actual club meetings and goings-on very difficult.
Solution 1: You move to CO
Solution 2: We all move to undisclosed location (per the other thread,,,) and start beer-drinking, female-adoring Rover hippie commune
Solution 3: We continue as on-line Roverheads and work w/ our local clubs
More or less this is a club.. I am not sure what you have in mind...
I talked to 1strover, doesn;t sound like he wants to sell.. .besides I am looking for a '95... thanks though!

this is pretty close to a club, but we can have meetings as many times a day as we want, simply by posting on the site, hell how many of us have the stickers on our trucks to show our support for Serg, this site and all of us as a "club" so yes sir binary count me in!

If this is a club where's my freakin' decoder ring?
I always get left out.
Me too!
Serg, how many stickers do you have in stock? All the ones I got from you at the British Car show I gave away to perspective forum members. I need to order some more.

I think this is pretty much set up as a club type thing. I helped and still help run a linclon car club that is on-line. They have people spread out through out the US and Canada.
They set up regional chapters. For example there is the New England Chapter, The New York Metro, Northern Cali, Southern Cali, Mid-west chapter, and so on. Each chapter has an area on the site to talk about setting up meets. Kind of broken down some more than the regional areas on this site. In addition they have a members only area on the site to talk about club business and membership is $20, but non members can still see and post in most areas of the clubs website. The money is used to keep the site running, help pay for club meets, and stuff like that.
They do have 1 major club meet at the Ford National Show in Carlisie, Pa. While there they talk about club business and hold a dinner where some awards are handed out. Then throughout the year there are various smaller meets at car shows and such.

Thats exactly what I was having in mind...of course it would be a more elaborate type of thing. But then again you guys have presented good enough points to support the fact that the way it's set up now is ok....I was asking because It'd be nice to meet more Rover owners down here.

This is a club now.. I have been trying to meet more rover owners and this site helps me a lot. I have met a few but most people I meet with rovers don't wheel. If you are gonna do an event in moab, or Colorado let me know.. I'll help you out.
