Default Yet another beer inspired idea...

Several of our fellow LRO members have some big things in the works: SCSL with his chopped Disco , JC with his expedition next year , me and my Baja Rangie project , to name a few. Maybe a section to hold these types of threads. A section where an ongoing thread regarding a project can be stored instead of posting new threads whenever an update is made. This way we can see the progress being made from beginning to end. Hey maybe this isn't feasible but, I for one, am really interested in SCSL and JC's projects and thought it would be cool to see all the progress in one thread as opposed to little bits here and there.

I could most ceretanly add a "Projects In Progress" section for all to post their projects... let's hear some more input on this..

I dont quite understand. Would this section be like a thread? Or in article form?

Do you not understand the words that are coming out of my mouth? Just kidding man! My thoughts are like this: You could have one thread that consists of entirely everything you do and say in regards to your trip, including comments and questions from others. SCSL would have a thread that consists of entirely everything he does with his chop project. These threads would eventually get quite long but all the info on that particular project would all be in one place. Serg would know better if a single thread could be several, maybe 10 pages long. Yes, it might make for a lot of reading but everything is organized in one thread.

That's a different idea. Is that possible? I like that idea but how do others know that someone has a project going? Is there some way to flag a profile to let others know?
