Default Making a bobtail.....

Hi guys, after some advice.

Me and a mate are thinking of building a bobtailed range rover purely to use off road (ie trailered on road).

We've looked at using a 3 door shell but it's to hard to find them now as they all seem to have rotted away or been bobtailed already.

I have seen a bobtailed 5 door shell, and it looks ok do to, weld the rear doors up etc. Not to sure if we'll shorten the wheelbase as shortening the prop and messing about with the doors looks like to much work.

Has anybody had any experience of doing a bobtail as i'd love some pointers.

Cheers.
