Driffield-based specialist expedition suppliers Venture Overland require a co-driver for the inaugural Landy Rally™ European Charity Drive 15-21 September 2007, a unique non-speed event encompassing 8 countries in 7 days! See www.landyrally.com for event details.

As part of a two-vehicle team entry, Venture Overland are looking for a competent enthusiast who is "not only seeking adventure" but importantly "is also prepared to be involved in the overall team effort". Event costs for the co-driver’s vehicle (fuel/ferry/entry fees) are to be shared 50% by the applicant and Venture Overland, while the company will supply the actual expedition-prepared Defender 90. To qualify documentation-wise, all the lucky person requires is a standard DVLA license!

Aiming to raise £10,000 all donated funds go directly to the team’s chosen charity Tommy’s - the baby charity an organisation seeking to prevent premature birth in the UK (premature birth being four times deadlier than cot death).
