what is the average cost of a 110 TDI 300 in new zealand? is there a big market? meaning is it easy to find 110s?

Well Lenz,
Should not be a problem.
You need:
1: Proof of ownership and registration(or deregistration if you do this).
2: If it is left hand drive you must have proof that you have owned it for more than 90 days otherwise you will have to convert it to right hand drive. You will be asked to sign that you will keep it for a few years anyway if it is left a LHD.
3: If you can, go to your L/R dealer and get a compliance certificate (signed by the service manager that shows all the EU standards to do with lighting, seatbelts, tyres etc. If you can't they can be arranged here for a fee. It should be quite a long list. The vehicle will have to be checked out when you want to register it here anyway. Any repairs will have to be made etc. Usual stuff.
110s are in NZ but not in huge supply. There are a few here but people like to keep them and some aren't cheap! A new 110 TD5 is about $70000.
There we are! Also check this out:

That is it! Easy!
