The keys for my Disco II have worn and need replacement. What has happened is the rubber covering the Lock/Unlock buttons has perished. My local dealer reckons the only alternative is to buy two new keys and have them programmed and a cost of $500! This is obviously quite ridiculous. Does anyone know of a cheaper way to obtain and then programme Disco II keys?

This is a rediculous situation. Try the net. Obtained two keys at total cost of $200 from Aussie seling on Ebay. " RoverDon" But you still have to get them programmed. I have gone to the dealer for the latest to stop all the hassle. Will cost about $350 programmed. Every disco owner should write to Land Rover.
cheers again. Lomo |
