Hello folks I bought the OME kit with the 751's and the 762's now my ? is to get a more lift I was thinking of putting 1 inch spacers under the springs for more lift. Should I upgrade my drivetrain first or will it be okay to get 1inch spacers with the 2 inch OME kit for a total of 3 inches of ground clearence.
Thanks Disco12.

the only way to get "true" ground clearance is to get bigger tires to raise those axles. But i would stay away from spacers...not much to gain with that one extra inch. plus it will wear out driveline parts much quicker!

Once you go to 3" or more, it tends to bring out the vibrations and the bad castor angles etc. 1" spacers on aftermarket springs aren't bad, but I don't think I'd do it unless you decided to go 'all the way' with correcting the other driveline angles and u-joint conversion etc.

Dude, let's put it all on first and then look at where we are. I added spacers in the rear to level out the truck a bit b/c I always load her down with the kids and gear. If after we get it all on, we'll see how she drives and then go from there. If we determine that spacers are something we want to consider, we need to map out a plan to deal with any possible vibrations. You don't want to put them on and then have issues that your wallet cannot fix. Call me when everything comes in and we'll git 'er done!
