Default after market accessories not to use on lr disco

wot after market acc are recomended not to put on the land rover? i don't know what may disrupt the vehicals systems so i would like to here from any one that knows of any acc non compadable with lr's
eg. radios,gps,cb,winch,etc.

dont put a K&N drop in filter in your ride. keep your stock paper filter, the oils on the k&n will mess up your MAF.

I learned this the hardway.

MAF exploded. caused all kinds of codes

although the oil fliters are damn good

Speaking of which, what ever happened to Keptin's wood fuel can holder idea he posted last year? If you look really close at the pic of TerryS' 110 at the top left of the screen, you can see the teak roof rack flooring. It's been there for 5 years now. I build a pretty sweet flat floor in my 109 with some plywood last year. Makes a pretty handy load area/tool box. But yeah to re-iterate what JC said, wood and Disco's don't mix.

See, but those are permissable...you made flooring out of them. A wooden fuel can holder is ok as well...alot of guys have a lot of storage systems made out of wood...

But a BUMPER made out of wood????? And then defending the fact that it's superior

I must've missed something here. The last good looking wooden bumper I've seen on any car was on a Ford Model T.
