Question Anybody know of an aftermarket outside temp guage

Hello does anybody know if LR does an aftermarket out side temp guage?
I have asked my usual part dealer in the UK (Rimmer bros Uk) and also the only one in Finland, they just offer me some cheap eyesore to stick on my dash.

Any suggestions greatly received

I have a Disco II TD5 on a 2000

Thank you

go check out plx devices or autometer. they make some really high quality gauges both standard and computer modular that might be able to do what you need...but it'd be pricey no matter what.

I just took a round (maybe 2 1/2" Diameter) thermometer gauge and bolted it to the mirror on one of my trucks. Works great.

duct tape and a thermometer will always work.

ok thanks for the heads up on his one, I will consider the temp meter aproach, although I was kinda hoping to find an addon for the rearview mirror or something that doesn't clutter the dash too much, I already have the gps and the drive+play from Harmon.

thank you once again

Default Outside Temp Gauge

DiscoII

I thought it was standard on the TD5, sensor is in the door mirrors and readout via the climate control panel, if so it should be easy enough to retro fit using OEM parts from rimmers
regards

Thank you very much I will look in to this, to see if I can somehow use the signal to another gauge , as I only have the old manual heating controls, I do not want to upgrade the controller as i have heard that it would mean having to change quite a bit of the heater blower system

Thanks

ok I found one not a perfect solution but saves having to have an extra clock on dash

2000 Land Rover Discovery Gentex Auto Rear View Mirror With Compass and Temperature

will let you know how I get on, thinking about digging deeper to findout whether or not I could hack this a bit and use the temp sensor in mirror

Talking

Td5 I have one that works great but it's expensive takes up the whole passenger seat it is voice activated and tells you when it's too cold out or to hot and when you are driving like an a33hole. I am willing to trade for a brush guard or a bag of really good chips.

I think I have already a similar model to this, but mine is portable or rather it follows me around everywhere
