Since Landrover have been owned by Ford, they have been hard on warranty. A freind had his front prop shaft go after about 10,000km and it took out the auto and did other damage. Landrover would not cover it as he had changed his springs due to a bull bar and the ride height was 4mm (yes 4mm) out of their specified range.

Don't know about warranty but my insurance company documented my a-bar as aftermarket.. even though it came with the truck when new. I plan on removing it anyway.. but I'd check to see the liability issues of things like that with your insurance company as well as the warranty coverage with LR.

While I worked for Rover as a service manager and writer, adding a front bumper was not a problem.
As already mentioned, if you added a locker and then you broke a drive shaft or drive line, they would not cover that particular part. Don't worry about it. Mike |

As said previously, they use to be very good with warranty. They would even replace a alternator full of mud under warranty. But they have been doing some strange things lately. I would not think that the bull bar would void the warranty, but if you put any springs into it or go for any larger tyres, etc, I would be very careful and make sure that they are not on the vehicle if you attempt to claim anything in the drive train or steering, etc.

When I had the D2 I put an ARB and Warn Winch on it, skidplates, 2" OME lift and shocks. I never had LR of San Jose refuse any warranty work in it, in fact no one ever even remarked about any of the add on's except that it looked good.

ARB bumpers are made to not affect the airbag deployment. Especially on a 2003 bar. Chris from ARB north america told me that they should be covered under warranty.

ARB bumpers are air-bag complaint...if there's one company's product i wouldnt worry about with warranty issues, its ARB.
