Scorpion is DEFINATELY tough, BUT they dont make a bumper for the DIIs (atleast not that I know of, you would have to ask JohnC to be sure or just check out the Scorpion Site)

But after two rear end collisions (me being the one doing the ramming), a boulder, and some trees, all I have are small scratches in the powdercoat. The worst one happened on the highway at about 20 MPH when a F150 stopped suddenly and I was almost falling asleep and BAM! I bent the crap out of the lower tailgate and my fairlead actually punctured the steel bumper. I moved the entire bed section about a quarter inch foward. The Rover Gods were with me that day and I didnt damage any of the costly marble tile the other guy was carrying in the bed. The bumper didnt budge, My headlight just slipped out of place and I put a small crack in my grille...and that was only at 20MPH!

Jupiter, the quote comes from a guy that beats the snot out of his truck, previously on CO trails and now in the bense bush of the east. From what I've seen in images, his SG bumper is built for action!

SG front, rear and sliders here! And suspension for that matter. They do their job very well.

If you buy anything but RTE, you will always wish you hadnt. RTE is the best function, fit, and look in my opinion. Only downside to the RTE is the powdercoating is not top notch like the bumper. But, it is easily touched up with Krylon flat black. Anything other than RTE is second rate at best.

well like previous replays.. RTE is for OFFroad use only.. with on road driving. TJM has came up to be the better choice. air bag compatible. and a bumper that can do its job against another object.

Wow i find this thread really interesting, Over here ARB bars are easily acknowledged as much stronger than TJM bars(more expensive but much better). My ARB has been on 12 years hit heaps of things saved the front end countless times and still looks great. The winch mounting is very strong too, i've pulled a 30ft pine tree outof the ground with it(double line pull of course) and never had any problems. Must make them different for export over to you guys.

I heard alot of folks say the ARB's are overly large and have a little less approach angle. Im heavily considering one (mainly because I like the look).

I also like the look and functionality of this bad boy.

Devon 4x4 Off Road - Discovery 2 Competition Winch mount : D44D2LOWTA : Off Road Equipment from Devon 4x4

The Devon 4x4 D44 Discovery 2 competition bumper. I think that looks stellar. Its like having no bumper at all. Unfourtunately, it costs a large fourtune in shipping.
