Default CD Changer Question

Hello all,

Brand new to the forum. My wife and I just picked up a 2002 Discovery 2. I have a question regarding the CD changer. A CD changer was not installed and I keep hearing that there is a 10 pin plug under the front seat, but I can't find it. Are all prewired for this? The stereo system does include the CD button and I plan to buy a CD changer. Thanks for any help.

Rob,
There should be a wire harness for the CD. You might want to check out Atlantic British for the CD player, they have I believe 3 to chose from.

if you can find a used CD changer it should plug right in. i just got myself one off of ebay for $50 and it works great.

The harness should be under the seat, sometimes wrapped up and tucked away…
100% positive it’s under there… might have to do some fishing.
