Default DII Washer fluid bottle relocation help

I need to relocate my washer fluid bottle. I am pretty sure i can get to fit somewhere around the Cruise control area as I have a big hole that has nothing in it. Can I do this myself, or is there a kit I have to buy. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Just curious, why are you wanting to move your bottle, are you adding a bumper, do you think it will be in the way, mine wasn't.

It sticks out like a sore thumb if you have a RTE bumper. I replaced mine with a washer bottle from JC Whitney.. put it on the firewall near the inertia switch. Cost should be under $20 with everything.

i'm say if/when i get a new bumper i'd need one. when I upgraded the foglight to HIDs i realized how big the washer fluid resevoir really was. if you get a slimline bumper i don't see how it couldn't stick out. i've seen people just spray paint them black when they trim stock bumpers for clearance and it completely defeats the point because the reservior still sticks out.

I agree, a slim line may expose the bottle too much. My bumper is bigger and still protects the bottle.

Relocation is best, just so you don't have to do it later, and have the added expense of a new bottle, when you break the original off-roading.

it sticks below my new bumper I am having made. Guy offered to make a skid plate for it, but would rather it just be out of the way. May make the move this weekend. It would stick out horribly. Crazy bulky for what a land rover needs IMO and in a horrible place. Good job agian Land Rover haha.

If your feeling lavish and in a spending mood, Devon 4x4 makes an aluminum slimline washer bottle. It runs around 100 Pounds.

wow thats a badass fluid reservoir...but 230something us dollars? no thanks lol. I can always modify a reservoir from another car which may have a different shaped setup...

You can accually buy reseviors for various fluids. For example, I have a 2L bottle left over from one of my Water/Methanol setups I did awhile back. It would go nicely where the tutorial suggests.

Why did you have to post that Alak? Now I have to go and Ring D4x4, and see if they have an 02 DII application. You Bastard. I must have that.

Glad to be of service Xtreme. They only make it for DII's - 2 versions - 99-02 and 03-04.

I really like it myself accually, maybe I'll buy one too. Then I can brag to all my friends how I paid $200 for a washer fluid bottle.
