Default Discovery Grille Guard question

I have a nice factory Land Rover grille guard complete with headlight guards removed from a 1996 Discovery. I plan on selling this and don't want to misrepresent it. What years will this work on? This is what it looks like. Any info would be appreciated.

Thank you for the info. Can you tell me what years? I know around 2003 they were considered just the Discovery as well.

Discovery I is 94 (in the US) to half way through 99.
If you just say Discovery I you should be covered.

1999 to 2004 (2005 sorta) were considered the Discovery 2.
2005+ is considered the LR3 or discovery 3.

Default Grill Guard Good

I had that same guard on my 97 D1 until I hit deer last year in Colorado coming back from LR Rally in Moab.Hit BIG buck going about 70(on I-70) head on and was sure that my rig was toast. When we got out to veiw the damage the brush guard was bent back against the vehicle but no real damage to(body or front end.My point is these are more than just for looks because without it that beast would have totalled my vehicle. It killed the engine on impact and re-arranged my off road lights but we jumped back in fired it up and took off.Amazing.Never found the deer.Probably rolled off front end after impact and down ravine(lucky we didn't follow him down it).If I hadn't already replaced mine I would buy that one in heartbeat.Good luck with sale.
