another Auburn rover guy has em right now. I'm gonna get them from him on weds or thursday when i get back in town. i'll put em up sometime within the next 2 weeks. i need to find switches.
yep yep, about the only lights that can fit properly under a hannibal. they may not be the most powerful lights, but i can always upgrade to HIDs in them.
lol i know michael is gonna see this thread and comment on how he his gonna have to do all the wiring for me....well he's right. unless its plug and play i'm absolutely useless when it comes to wiring. however, i do have soldering skills.
i woulda installed the exhaust had it not needed a welder, michael helped me with the sliders and the rotoflex. i didnt weld on the front diff guard either. but the rest of my odds and ends were bolted on by me. i wish i had a garage full of power tools and a good jack...but then again that costs money. its easier to pay michael in booze to install my shit than me doing it myself hahaha
just picked up the lights from Lee. They look great and will work perfect for the rack. However, I still need to find a drill to borrow for a few days and a helping hand to help me lift my roof rack on to drill holes in the hannibal and remount the rack 2" forward on my gutter rails. I have a feeling i will have these mounted this weekend (pending drill and helper), and if the weather permits i hope to have them wired by tuesday, if not they may not be wired until next weekend.
the work lamp may not get wired for a little while longer since it did not come with any wires and will need to be wired differently than forward facing FF300s.
so does anyone in auburn/montegomery/columbus, GA area have a drill (and hopefully some small bits) that i could borrow for the weekend?
i'd loan you my drill, but im outta town this weekend! I'm expecting alot of pics Chris.
no worries. my dad called basically said i need to stop working on my car all the time and get a social life, so he said to take it to a shop and have them do the work. he's paying for it. so i had no objections, they will be installed on tuesday.
basically, i will have gotten the lights, wiring, mounting, and other misc parts all for cheaper than just buying the lights at normal full price....fucking win!
