Default Hand Throttle

thinking of getting this
http://www.rubiconexpress.com/Produc...=5D589B2146554

Is this one a good one. I like it becasue i can put it around the shifter and not like the other ones that are pull levers. I hate being off road and running my feet back and forth. I know im takeing the easy way out and i sould just learn to drive but for $30 i dont think its to bad.

And if any one has a hand throttle tell me how you set it up and so on. and how easy is it to control and so on.

I have recently worked on a Jeep with this set up. The owner told me that he burns his clutch linings alot. However, he is into rock crawling so he has his RPM way up for a long time when wheeling. But he did like it.

Looks like it should be on the handlebars.

I've considered this as well. Here's a thread from Pirate.

A throttle assembly like that is more often used with a manual tranny and a crawler t/case, I wouldn't recommend it on a Disco with a automatic.
