We are Hard Labor Creek Fabrication LLC. Formed by Denny Doler and Stuart Ivie (Denny and stu454 here on LandRoversOnly), we seek to offer an alternative source for DII, D1 and RRC bumpers and sliders.
We have just completed our first prototype for a DII and RRC front winch bumper. These were designed to the customer's specs. Features include- ability to fit any winch up to a Warn 10k electric in size integral shackle mounts made from 1"x2" bar stock attachment to the frame at six points rather than four without any cutting concealed rock light tabs brush bar and two light tabs We'd like to have input and suggestions for the future. The next items we will be workin on are DI, DII and RRC rear bumpers with an integrated tire carrier that will handle up to a 35" tire. Sliders with a U channel body mount are currently available as well as RRC rear bumpers without the tire carrier. Pricing and ordering specifics will be set shortly and we are working on our website which should be complete next week. And We have three trucks that will be at the National Rally in Moab that will be fitted with our equipment. We wanted to get these pictures out there to see what folks think. I like the look of the bumper but, do you have to butcher the grill for the winch?

very nice looking, but yea I would be concerned about the install. Def some cutting to get that winch up inside the grill like that. Could be wrong though. Nice looking none the less. We were going to angle the side bars on mine up like that but didnt want to cross the head lights much decided to keep them a bit lower.

We will build whatever the customer is looking for. If you have an idea of something you like and it doesn't include cutting of the body or any part for that matter we can do it. So to answer your question, Yes I have decided to cut my grill and modify it due to the type of trail riding I like to do. It also required me to relocate the trans cooler as well.
And thank you for the comments, Denny Last edited by Denny : 07-21-2008 at 06:55 PM. Reason: Wanted to say thank you |
