Default just missed SG sliders!!!

So i saw some SG sliders on ebay for dirt cheap (50 bucks) so i bid on them. They were in very good shape too...obviously being sold by someone who did not know their value. well i was the high bidder for six days. today was the last day and me and this other guy were trying to outbid each other....well i have a very shitty computer and 9 minutes before the auction was over my computer shut itself off. by the time my shit box booted back up the auction was over and some lucky guy got some SG's for 83 bucks!!! Damnit. I offered the guy 150 bucks for him to close the auction early...i be he wished he would have taklen my offer now!!! I AM SUPER PISSED well its time for some brew...

Give MoFab a call and get some of their sliders for about $300.00. They are still perfecting them but are looking for some people to test them out - hence their lower price - but they are hella tough!

Nope! That's why you buy em used but in near perfect shape for a $120, and buy some scrap flat stock and have your buddy with a welder finish the job for a couple of beers! At least that's what I did.

I had a set like that, they bent soo much that I couldn't open my passenger door. Ended up giving them away for free..... and they were from a well known vendor/manufacture...

Why mess up your doors and sills, do the job right the first time and get some decent sliders.

What a bunch of bellyachers. If you really want or need some sliders, just call SG and place an order, and stop wasting our time here. If the type of driving you do does not require sliders and the protection they offer, then you are not using your rover to it's potential. That's OK, it's your choice. But don't expect us to care about your box or your ebay skills.

Or call me- I'm a SafariGard dealer too.
Safarigard has the flaw of not protecting the sides of the DII well though- the door handles on the DII make me want more side protection than on my DI.

Yeah, I have seen DII's with some side damage using the $G sliders.

I just curious- I want sliders, but can't find ANY that I like. RTE is close, but I'd still rather have frame mounted ones. Mine are frame mounted, but I don't like the brackets and don't have time to make new ones.
