I was thinking about that...because i havent seen them anywhere... the only place i have seen this "light bar" is in the Haynes Extreme Discovery book... it shows how to install it but never mentions where the hell they got it or the name of it....pfft

Here are the photo's
![]() How they are mounted to the gutter ![]() How the wiring runs next to the snorkel. ![]() bracket for the lights ![]() Front on view. Total cost was under $30 AU without lights, very easy to build if you have access to a welder also have been there for 3 years lots of corigations and have not come loose. Only problem is the light the bonnet like you would not believe but thats the cheap lights. Adam Moderators Note: Images resized

I went for the larger diamater pipe so that I can intergrate it into the external cage if I ever get around to making it. (to lazy to cut pipe more than once also why waste material)

Thats better 130cc :P . those were huge before.. now I can actually see them.
Can you mount the lights you have now on the rack you have now but upside down? Like.. put brackets on the top bar and mount them under it.. |

I would have to lift the bar up slighly but I can't hang them under as they could then cause problems with Roads and Traffic Athority for restricting drivers vision lame I know. There is the plug just before the light bar so that they can be disconect while on road, in Aus we are not allowed to have lights on the roof for on road use, but I have managed to get pass a few road side inspections by not having them connected so far it has worked. The first inspector said that he could not defect my vehicle because of it, as the lights could not be accidently turned on(whilst on road) the other way people get arround this is to have covers on them when traveling on road.
