Default LR3 Trailer Hitches

The stealership is trying to tell me I have to spend $480 for a hitch and another $350 for the wiring harness for an 07 LR3. I want to tow a boat or use the hithc for a thule bike rack. There has to be a better way. Any ideas from the savy vets. Trying to save some money here. Times are tough. I am new to this post.....
