Default new winch

I just bought a mile marker hydraulic 10,500 lb. winch for my range rover classic. I am going to install a pump for a snow plow where the AC compressor normally goes. Then I will use standard plow left/right vales to control powering in and powering out. I checked with mile marker said this was ok. the pump will work receiving pressure from both directions. Does any one else have one or advice about installation. I am not using the MM electric solenoids to make the system simpler. I was at winter romp last weekend and decided I needed a winch if I was going to start attending rallies more often.

Do you have a way to shut the pump off when not needed? Can you setup a way to maybe remove the belt, or have a clutch setup like the A/C?

Nice. Can't wait to see photos of the install. Not too many people running hydraulic's on Rovers these days. Will be interesting to see how it's held up in a year or two. Keep us posted.
