Default Pre-drilled holes in front bumper ?

Greetings,

I am curious if my Discovery (2003 SE7) has any pre-drilled holes in the front bumper? A friend of mine has an SUV (non-Rover...) that has pre-drilled holes in the bumper under the plastic cover.

I would like to install a pair of Hella lights on the bumper.

Thanks.

Rob

If Michaels had half a brain he would have known that the front bumper will not support a couple driving lights, it is plastic with not support the lights and they will vibrate, not allowing you to have a fixed light beam.

couldn't you just slip in a 1/8" steel backing plate under the plastic of the bumper?

i've seen multiple discos running small hellas mounted just to the black plastic center of the D2s. not the optimal way to mount lights, but it will work.

Yes, I have seen some do this and with a small enough light they can usually make a support plating from behind.

??? You didn't? Lots of fiberglass, or something used on the rear cargo door and roof as well. Ask me how I know...
