that should pack a punch!! x2! i got a new pioneer deck w/ the ipod adaptor and 4-4" pioneer speakers and kept my old tweeters. sounds good but i need some bass to (sounds flat). i was looking at bazooka tubes that come w/ amp (100w) and a 6 1/2" sub woofer (there r differnt sizes.) also i need to get a new ipod (dam) i have the 2nd gen. (old school) which u can not plug it into the newer dock adaptors (always something). any ipod 2004 and below can not work w/ the new dock adaptors. i have had my ipod for 3 or 4 yrs and no problems at all! i guess my wife and i will ask for a new nano from my father and law for x-mas.

i have been working with the stereo on my rrc since i bought it...if you are only powering one 12 inch sub then 300 watts should def be enough as long as it is 300 watts RMS power...some amps will say they are 1000 watts but that is usually the peak power which it very rarely reaches

Hey Aaron, did you Classic come with a factory sub in the passenger rear of the cargo compartment?
Mine has that sub, and sounds pretty decent, although I never really cared for sound systems anymore, but cool to have none the less. ![]()

Probably more that you'd ever want to know. But here's brief quote and a link. As a general rule with amplifiers, if you get too many watts for too little $ it's probably an exageration or dirty power.
The term sine power is used in the specification or measurement of audio amplifiers or loudspeakers. A meaningful and reliable measure of the power output of an audio amplifier, or the power handling of a loudspeaker is continuous sine wave power, or more strictly 'continuous average sine wave power'. Such a figure will often be found in advertising literature referred to as "true RMS power", but this is quite incorrect. Although there is such a thing as RMS (Root Mean Square) power, it is neither useful as a measurement nor what is intended by those who use the term...etc quoted from link below. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watts_RMS
