Don't know about XM, but Sirius plays through my deck on an FM channel. Just set up the receiver and tune your radio the channel. I would imagine XM works the same.

XM also offers equipment that plays through an FM channel. However, you'd get a LOT better performance if you get a new deck and speakers.
