Default Radius arms for my D2

Hi All

Im after some Radius arms for my D2 and was wondering is there any body else other RTE that mod them over where you guys are?

I have been advised by my local forum I visit that there is a place in England called QT Services http://www.qtservices.co.uk/default.asp just wondering what other options there are other then RTE

RTE cut originals and QT make them from scrach from what I understand

here are some pic of my Disco he is sitting a little high on the front as you guys can see 20mm to be exact and here are some other pic of other mods to date and parts that have gone in

its currently sitting 600mm from hub to fender on the rear and 620mm on the front

Corase of action is a 15mm - 20mm spacer on the rear radius arms on the front pro shafts etc

any way any advise on Radius arms would be a help

Radius arms will correct your castor, not the ride height. How long have you had the springs? Have they settled yet?

Sure you didn't put the fronts in the rear?

Hmm, that's pretty interesting. Although, I do sort of like the way it looks sitting like that...

That's what I was wondering but I didn't want to be the first to ask.

How much of a lift did you get? What are you doing with your ACE if your lift is over 3"s?

If you can find a stronger weld than Rovertym, I'll eat my shorts.

Your buck isn't going to go very far right now in England. There are plenty of RTE radius arms performing flawlessly in all types of terrain with frequent, hard use.

(but, as stated before, they aren't going to effect your ride height)

Hi guys

I know it wont correct my ride hight is the diff angle im trying to bring back

there is only one way to fit springs on a disco the rear are flat shaved top and bottom and the front are flat shaved on top and dog leg on the bottom so that covered

At the moment its 4 inch in the rear and just under 5 inchin the front 20 milimeters in Auzzie terms

I dout not that Rovertym welds are strong almost all the suspension mods are Rovertym already his great the only problem is that in Australia it against the law

As for the front ACE links I've got front ones for the rear however have to go custom or find a donor for the front

Well in that case you're stuck with QT or Equipe. I'm sure Justin will be glad to sell you a set of Equipe Arms for $1,500.

Edit:
Sorry I forgot about the Scropion Racing ones also.

Why not castor corrected bushes instead of radius arms? Would it be a more legal approach to your problem?

Also, You can use a D1 spring perch in the rear to gain about 10mm in height.

You do not have a winch. Do you plan on getting one? If so, that will adjust ride height in the front too.

Nice truck!

I'll either rip the front Spring out and send them away to get reset or the manufacturer will make me another set at cost price I did a bit of an experiment with a few sand bags on the front bar to replicate winch and battery and at 60kg the suspension dropped about 15mm and then I did the same at the rear to replicate a Cargo draws and the extra from when I'm
going away at 160 kg the back dropped about an 1 inch so the rear
measured about a little over 3 inch and this meant that the front
was now a little over 4 inch

so the plan is to put in a set of D1 rear spring seats I'm told that
will give me 15mm extra for the rear so at fully loaded the rear
will sit 3.5 inch and the front I'm dropping by an inch to sit a tat
over 3 inch

I think
