series winch mount - Land Rovers Only

hey all,
i just got my winch (warn xd9000i) and i'm getting set to fabricate a mount for it on my series 2A. i'm looking for ideas. i havent seen too many (close up) photos of them. i've seen the fairlead mounted in the bumper and above the bumper. i'm still trying to decide on that one.
where are people bolting to the frame? obviously i'm looking at the bumper mounts and the bracket that the breakfast is mounted to. i am thinking about drilling through the frame horizontaly, reinforcing with tubing through the hole and through bolting. anyone have good photos or know of sites with good photos?
