After 10 years of use, the dust covers on both shift levers were looking a bit ragged, so I had some sewn from grey pleather.
The new ones just stretch over the old brackets (I've left the original material on the brackets, but have pulled them down on the shafts) and I'm not totally convinced about how they look. I'm not sure if they'll stay, either, once I get to driving around (the Beast is on chocks waiting for a new alt). Here are some before and after shots. What do you guys think?

Looks pretty good to me. BTW,I've never really thought of it this way before, but it looks like 'mother & daughter' hand puppets.

Reminds me of my days in the Navy as a Parachute Rigger. We used to have access to really nice glove soft leather and used to make all kinds of cool stuff.
