Upgrading stereo in P38

Have recently bought a 1996 P38 and want to upgrade the stereo.

Already have the equipment so looking for suggestions. Has anyone done a sound quality install in a P38 and if so what front speaker positioning was used? Front components are 6.5 JVC with a dome tweeter. Thinking factory position for the 6.5s but open to suggestions for the tweeters.
