I am wiring up the lights for the rack... four in front and two rear. Drawing the wire within the rack to a common connect is not a problem but how on earth can I get those wires up to the rack without having a mess.
I looked at tucking the wire under the seal on the psgr side pillar but one wire will fit but not four (common ground to rack and three powerer... #12 wire). I read a post earlier about taking the pillar off... hmm I dont see how that part comes off... unless that is different on a DII. I can pick up some black three wire cable (# 12)... you know the bundled wire... run it along the groove and use some black RTV... just like a post I read previously... hmm and Run the common ground to the rack under the seal... If anyone has any suggestions... I can always make changes. BTW as for the switch to the lights... I went with a remote (wireless) switch with four circuits. Pretty cool really... only runs 15 amps per switch so I am using 2 30 amp relays for each pair of 100W H3s and just piggy backing the 15 amp as the switching device to trigger the 30 amp relay. Came with another damn key fob... that makes three... one for the garage, car, and now the acc. lights on the rack. I wonder if the Homelink can be programmed to work with the light remote... hmmmmm That would almost be too good to be true. I will get some more pics tomorrow... rack is painted black bed liner and with lights in place should be ok for now. I still need to do some beautification work to the rack... just so that I can rough it up again.
