..heh..that would be me. Im glad that there will be no problems (there better not ).....consider us to be at a higher standard; I could only imagine a lone rover on a jeep forum..... ....the off-roading passion goes beyond what you drive, its more a matter of just having fun doing it.

steve, I believe we will just stay the night at a motel 6...I dont want to trouble you guys. Is camping still an option, weather permitting?

Alky? Come on! I have a great respect for spirits and I do not abuse them... I always use a high quality glass and am sure to drink from every bottle in the cabinet so as not to offend.

Bri- you're more than welcome to ride with me if you're just going for the day. It's unlikely I'll be able to pull off an all-nighter.

the all-nighter at hollister might be a possibility if i wasn't already trying to smooth the wife so i can attend a bach party in tahoe two weeks later. she's not so hip on being home alone on multiple nights with a ramped-up 2-year-old and a 3-month-old who's being sleep-trained.

yes, they are. however, my loon-in-law has been watching the baby during the week so it's unlikely she'll be up for more keister-cleaning and puke-swabbing on a weekend. my wife won't enlist my mom's help. also, for some reason, every time i'm gone overnight, the sh*t hits the fan... like my first son being born. hence, i must choose my "sleepovers" wisely.

So how many people are going now? There seem to be more and more....just keep adding up. From here, from lrrforums, etc. etc.

....I want to hear "40", but I'll take what I can get. This could turn into a really cool trip. Both JP and I are bringing our camcorders....along with my D50.

Dude, you'll be fine. I have seen you wheel. You won't be in the water long enough to get water in them!

Check this out:

I think we will have somewhere between 15 - 30 vehicles there.
