Good place to service my defender TDi near San Francisco - Land Rovers Only

Hi all,

does anybody knows a good place to have my Defender 300 TDi serviced. I'm in Pacifica close to San Francisco and will leave for Central America in a couple of weeks.

I have a Defender 110 and have been taking it to Clint Wright of British Car Repair in San Rafael. He does great work. He can be reached at 415 457 1707. I also used to take my truck out to Mike Green in Livermore. He owns West Coast British. His number is 925 606 8301. He does a lot of expeditions out in Nevada, so I'm sure he will be very useful for your upcoming trip.

Mike is good, I have used him since 2001. He is knowledgeable about LR Diesels and he used to work for Land Rover. I think he could take one apart in his sleep and put it back together. He has a real nice 109 he's done a full frame off resto on and is working on an 88 for his son, doing complete frame off, too. I"d highly recommend him.
