Default I'm new to the forum... I'm looking for suggestions on trails for a weekend trip in e

hey guys I'm new to the rover scene and am looking for some good trails in Socal and people to go with.

I've got an 06 RR HSE (stock as of now) that I've taken all over Anza borrego and Ocotillo wells are, I've covered every trail (literally!) of the last 6 weekend trips. My wife and I went out on Saturdays and camped each weekend. there wasn't anything except for one drop (diablo?) that measured to narrow to be safe.

now I'd like to find something other than the desert trails in Socal, something with mud, streams, mountain trails...

I'm thinking of doing a Sat - Monday camping trip this weekend. Does anybody have anything planned or can you recomend some weekend areas in Angels natl mountains or Big bear.

thanks again for your help. I've also posted a ? in the tires section, so any help on that would be cool as well.

Hey Roger! Welcome to the forum! There is a big gathering at Pismo this weekend. Go to www.lrrforums.com and check out the two threads in the Events section referring to Pismo. I won't be able to attend due to family responsibilities but it should be a fun shindig.

Welcome to the forum Roger! x2 on what X said. Pismo would be a great chance to meet up with a bunch of other rovers, some coming from So. Cal. as well. Should be a great trip, hope to see you there!

Default Thanks...

Thanks for the link. I'm not sure I'm up for a dunes run this weekend, I was looking to try something a little different, but thanks for the invite.

Thanks,
Roger
