How far from chattanooga tn is it. I might be in if I get the d1 fixed. What are the trails like. If it isn't to bad and I don't fix the truck could my stock lr3 make it without damage.
Tims property is just outside Bham on east side, I would guess 2.5 hours for you. I have not been on his land but from what he tells me its 1200 acres and was a strip mine area.I dont know what the trails will be like but I do think we are going to have a good time,Hope you and many others will join us. Thanks Johnny
Its private property , not sure about exact location, this will be my first time out there. I figure we all could meet Sunday morning at Tom Williams Land Rover off 459 (not sure of exit number)I plan to call Tim this weekend or start of week to get meeting time/place and how many people he knows of that are coming.Im counting on people from this forum and
d-90 forum also to come out.Over all I dont see too many saying yes so far,I hope more people chime in and let us know.I like to think of this first outing as a get to meet other owners so we can plan more offroading,I plan on going to Stoney Lonesome park(exit 299 off 65) in november but hope to meet other LR owners before then.
Sorry for the late post but here it is,we are meeting at Tims lot on this Sunday at 2pm address is 2301 2nd ave south Birmingham 35233 .we will drive from there to his land for some four wheeling fun, should be a lot of fun hope to see a lot of LR owners there,so far Tim says we have 5 trucks total,it would be great to see at least double that. Thanks Johnny
Well the 25th came and went,it was just me and Tim on his property but we did enjoy the trails, the ones we tried were pretty basic but the property has a lot of potential, dont know when the next trip to Tims is but I hope more will join us. Im still looking at Stoney Lonesome Sun Nov. 22 its a park in Cullman (exit 299) according to its website they are open year round so have a look and let me know if anyone is interested,I can go on other dates in Nov. also. Thanks Johnny
