I'm taking the family up to Caney Fork to go camping and some trail riding the last weekend of july. I'll leave from Athens, Ga around 1000-1100 on Friday morning and stay till Sunday morning. Post up if you are interested.

Denny, have you been up there before? I might be able to leave early from work on Friday putting me in Sylva around 2 or 3. If you've been there and are familiar how to get to the bald, I can just meet you at the top. Otherwise, we can meet in town.
That being said, put me down for a definite maybe. There's a hill of carnage that I MUST conquer where everyone is always breaking stuff. The last time I was going to take that route, I ended up having to winch myself and another truck for 2 hours to get to the hill and was so frustrated that I just had to wait for another time. This is it! |

Steven, I've never been there before. We're planning on coming up from S. Carolina on 107 and should be up there between 1600-1700 (We're going to take it easy and stop at some water holes to swim on the way up) If we can't meet up is it that hard to find the bald? As far as the trail of carnage I got your back
